BLUE DRAGON CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION FT. VI DO, CEO

In this episode, Justine speaks to Vi Do, the co-CEO of Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, a charity that helps street kids and rescues victims from slavery and human trafficking in Vietnam. This episode begins with Vi Do's story of how he joined Blue Dragon as a street kid years ago, and his journey to becoming a driving force in the mission to help impoverished children in Vietnam. Listen as Vi Do shares Blue Dragon's efforts to aid street children who were greatly impacted by the effects of COVID-19.

FT. NGUYEN THI CAM VAN

In this episode of COVID Compassion in Vietnam, host Justine Mach interviews Chi Cam Van, the founder of From Saigon to Saigon (FSTS), a non-profit organization in Vietnam that was created to aid low-income communities in Ho Chi Minh City with food relief packages and medication. Tune in as Chi Cam Van shares how this organization started, its impacts, and advice she has for youth in Vietnam who are looking to give back!

SERENDIPITY CONCERT:
JIMMY NGUYEN'S VIRTUAL
COVID -19 FUNDRAISER

In this episode of Vietnam on the Mic, Justine talks to Jimmy Nguyen, the head organizer of a virtual concert named Serendipity. The concert was planned to raise funds to give back to Ho Chi Minh City's medical workers by donating food and basic necessities. Premiering on YouTube in August 2021, Serendipity featured recorded performances from high school students around Vietnam. Listen in as Justine and Jimmy discuss Jimmy's inspiration for creating the event and advice he has to give to fellow students hoping to give back to their communities!

OPEN HEARTS FOUNDATION:
FACE MASK DONATION CAMPAIGN

In this episode, Justine speaks about Open Hearts Foundation, a non-profit initiative that raises funds to produce anti-bacterial face masks for orphanages, shelters, and schools in Vietnam, Singapore, and the United States. Founded in May 2020 by Nathan Chen, Open Hearts Foundation works with NGOs around the world to distribute over 12,500 high-quality, antibacterial face masks to less fortunate communities. Justine gives valuable advice about applying your unique skills to your community service!
